Welcome to our school specializing in Salsa! In our beginner course, you will dive into the vibrant world of Salsa (70% of the course) while also exploring other dances such as Merengue, ChaChaCha, and Bachata (30% of the course). For example, in your first class, you will spend 40 minutes dancing Salsa and 15 minutes discovering Merengue. You will learn how to lead and follow a partner, an essential skill that can be applied to all dance styles. Ready to dance?

On top of all of our events, we offer one practice every first friday of the month. Come and check out our students dancing in our MEDIA PHOTOS and VIDEOS section. Also, during registration we will give a list of places to go out dancing Salsa.

Usually, there are 20 to 30 students per group. There is always 2 teachers per group and also dancers from higher levels that come to assist us.

At Baila Productions, classes are always given by 2 instructors that have many years of experience in dance as well as in teaching. We will show you, step by step, with our easy to follow teaching method, how to dance Salsa, Merengue, ChaChaCha and Bachata.

Not at all! You can register with or without partner. We balance the men-women ratio carefully.

How long will it take me to learn Salsa?2017-02-19T11:22:47-05:00

It all depends on your goals. If you want to learn the basic to be able to dance in Cuba, 1 or 2 sessions are enough. If you want to push it further and want to go out dancing in clubs 1 to 3 sessions. If you want to perform on stage, 1 year and more!!! But one thing is for sure, after the first class you will be able to dance salsa!!!!

You can use the Apple music or Spotify App to find songs. We offer the most qualified teachers in the business. All of our teachers are professional salsa performers and have strong background in multiple other dances. Our directors have a B.A. in Psychoeducation and Education respectively and use a very effective teaching method. You will learn fast and enjoy yourselves at the same time. At the end of the session, you’ll be amazed of what you’ve learned!!!

You will have fun, we take our teaching seriously but we don’t take ourselves seriously. Our main goal is to provide you with a fun and relaxed environment where it will be easier to learn.

Comfortable clothes and shoes that don’t have a rubber sole. Because when we will be starting to spin you’ll be glued to the ground!

Ilias and Viky Baila Productions Latin Dance School owners have more than 20 years of experience in numerous dances: Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, African and of course Salsa!
